API was founded by Edward P. Rafter, who has over 25 years experience in electrical power systems including consulting, design, installation, commissioning, maintenance and testing. He has provided expertise and served as the lead electrical design engineer on multiple high reliability, mission critical projects including new and existing data center, telecommunication and medical facilities. Edward is a voting member of the IEEE Battery Standards Committee. He received his certification as a building commissioning professional from the University of Wisconsin.
